The MX Link is built up using the angles of the ‘M’ and ‘X’ of the Marex wordmark.
It represents the essential connection between services across Marex and helps with storytelling when explaining the business.
It can be used as an infographic shown here.

When not being used as an infographic the MX Link should follow the 45° angle of
the Chevron, to create an overlay graphic or image mask. It can be used sparingly to add decoration to hero images and title pages. The Link must not be used on legal documentation and is for marketing purposes only. The MX Link must be used as a thin line, when paired with the Logo it must not be wider than the
stroke of the Wordmark.

To use the link correctly, make sure a maximum of two points of the link graphic are visible within the layout.
Type should also have priority, make sure text is visible and readable; text should not overlap the MX link in any way.

The MX Link is just the beginnning of our story. There is so much more to say, and to illustrate that, we push the boundaries further than a single graphic, allowing Marex to tell more complex narratives.
Using the same MX Visual Style we push further using shapes, lines and nodes to visualise data, house imagery and add visual flair. Rooted solidly in the Marex Design System this system allow the user to adapt between the core colour palette for a more professional and business-focussed approach, and the extended palette for more eye-catching marketing materials.

While bold and eye catching in static form, the MX Visual Style really stands out when animated. Using smooth motion, animated shapes and flowing lines, the MX Visual Style can seemlessly switch from title, to image mask, to infographic and tell the most complex stories in an easy-to-digest way.
