Imagery is one of the most important elements in our brand system. It not only showcases who we are but the markets we inhabit, the people apart of Marex
and the diversification within the company. It encaptualates the rationale
behind our brand.
A library of imagery can be accessed by request. To request imagery for designs, please email design@marex.com
For images that relate to people, there is a strong emphasis on collaboration, work processes and engagement. These images are not stock imagery but photographs of real employees. They are all shot within an office environment and should be used at the highest optimal quality with good lighting.
Marex abstract should be used for displaying imagery that relates to Marex; without being real-life shots. These images focus on geometry, movement and scalability; these visual scenes show a replicating panelling effect that can be contorted and abstracted infinetly (composition here is key).
The city abstract images shuold be used for corporate group functions. The city abstract images depict architecture and geometry in a modern yet visually stimulating way; these images should be dynamic and create a touch of
corporate detail.
Cube abstract should be used for Solutions (Financial Products). These images are playful and experiment with pattern; alongside the background and
foreground composition.
Curve abstract should be used for Solutions (Hedging Solutions Division). These images focus on flow and movement; they have an almost hypnotising like motion, yet soothing calmness using a variety of on-brand colourful vibrancy.
For metals imagery, we focus on the depiction of 'production'. It is important to showcase process and the actual raw product itself. Images can vary from brooding, tightly packed coils of metal to firey canistars pouring the molten liquid.
Energy should compose industrial stations and objects in static bright lighting. It is important to showcase energy in a way that is realistic and not over-bearing, as these images should focus on reality; not glorification or propaganda.
Environmental images showcase carbon off-setting, renewable energy and 'sustainable' forms of carbon friendly practise. These images should clearly portray a friendly and positive attitude towards clean energy, recycled materials and
carbon management.
Agricultural images should highlight the individual market and technique of the aquired commodity itself; e.g. coffee, cocoa, cotton etc. These images are visual representations of farming and the environment, so make sure to focus on aspects that follow this context.
