The Link is built up using the angles of the ‘M’ and ‘X’ of the Marex wordmark.
It represents the connection between services across Marex and helps with storytelling when explaining the business. It can be used as an
infographic shown here.
When not being used as an infographic the Link should follow the 45° angle of
the Chevron, to create an overlay graphic or image mask. It can be used sparingly to add decoration to hero images and title pages. The Link must not be used on legal documentation and is for marketing purposes only. The Link must be used as a thin line, when paired with the Logo it must not be wider than the
stroke of the Wordmark.
When To use the link correctly, make sure to make two points of te link graphic visible within the layout. Type should also have priority, so make sure text is visible and readable; the link should also be on a lower layer of the text.
Text should also not be placed over the MX link.
The Link can also be broken up into sections which create unique shapes for each Service. These can be used as a graphic overlay or holding shapes for imagery. This can be used sparingly to add decoration to hero images and title pages.
Each relevant service shape should be placed onto the accompaning service layout.
