Icons are designed to be simple, significant, friendly, and sometimes quirky. Each icon is reduced to its minimal form, expressing essential characteristics. Conceptually, the Marex icons are seperated by their individual groups; for example, markets and divisions.

The Marex icons are built on a consistent grid where we follow a strict geometry, so we design simple, legible and unique icons that scale effectively and keep their consistancy across different layouts and formats. At standard 48px x 48px line width should be 2px.

Icons follow a strict rationale behind when to use them. Alongside this, colour and imagery should also follow suit with the specific icon being used, see below for guidelines around this.
